Interview with Jill of Rose Noire

Japanese Goth band Rose Noire was formed by Louie (Vocal) and Jill (Violin) when they were students at the Tokyo National University of Fine arts and Music. Although their band may be labeled as Goth, their music incorporates a wide range of genres with an emphasis on classical.
They won the ZOOM prize at SONY-ZOOM DEMO tape competition in 2007.
ASIANCE: Jill, it is a pleasure to meet you. When you were young when did you first become interested in music?
Jill: I started studying violin when I was two years old but I don't remember exactly when.

Formed in 2008, YGA (Yoshimoto Gravure Agency) is a J-pop idol group consisting of 10 members (Tani Yukako, Hanano Yuuri, Hayashi Sanae, Sakurai Rika, Hinata Sayo, Misawa Kana, Kasuga Sayaka, Oomizo Shiina, Wasaki Nanami, and Kato Moemi. Every weekend, YGA runs a live show at Shinagawa Prince Theatre in Tokyo, Japan. Their single "Jounetsu Heroine" ranked in 5th on the Oricon chart.

Drummer Jamie Scoles

Jamie was born in Newport Beach on September 22, 1992. As a little girl she would bang pots and pans on the floor of the kitchen. She took a great interest in Travis Barker, the drummer from the band Blink 182. She was so greatly influenced by the music of the band that the following year she picked up a bass guitar and a drum set.
