Kal Penn leaves the White House

Lifeline Live and other entertainment news outlets are reporting that actor Kal Penn is leaving his White House job to film another sequel to the Harold & Kumar movies.

His role as public liaison involved facilitating relationships between President Obama with the Asian-American and Pacific Islander communities, as well as arts groups.

Penn goes by his birth name, Kalpen Suresh Modi, in his White House job.

I think it's pretty telling Mr. Modi is leaving the Obama Administration and makes you wonder if Penn is happy with the way the President is performing....hmmm!

We'll have to ask him!

I don't get it. Why work for the President for what? How long was he there? a year and a half just to make history? He quit a lucrative job to work in politics so it doesn't seen like money is his mo. Maybe just maybe Obama is not what he's cracked up to be just like the American people are starting to figure out. My guess is he's sick of the Obama administration but I guess we'll never know the truth. Not like he will ever say anything. -Victorya

Listen to Adam Carollas recent racism towards Filipinos.

In the past he's said a lot of other racist stuff toward Hawaiian and other Asians. Now he's attacking filipinos.

...or he wanted to be part of history and he was, but the world goes on and another Harold and Kumar movie is a really lucrative/convincing offer.

...Or it could indicate that being in a film is a time commitment.
