Five-Time Heavyweight Champion Evander Holyfield will be the guest of honor at the Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant's pre-pageant VIP meet and greet on Thursday evening, September 16, at Morton’s the Steakhouse Restaurant in downtown Washington, DC. Mr. Holyfield will pose for photos with the 15 young women competing for the title of DC Miss China Beauty Pageant queen and will be available to greet the public and media. The event is hosted by Pacific Culture International (PCI).
Among the VIPs attending this event are pageant judges George Cheung - honorary president of the US-China Association of Industry & Commerce and president of Atlantic Seafood International Group Inc, Karina Hou - director of Kentlands Music Studio, Dr. Joyce Knudsen - founder and president of The ImageMaker, Inc.®, Anita K. Tong – descendant of 5th century philosopher Confucius, Jim Whitehead – Miss USA and Miss Universe fame, Yu Dee Chang – president of Chesapeake Investment, and Dr. Chiann Fan Gibson - Mrs. United States 2005. Chris Jan - executive director of Pacific Culture International, Rita Lee - pageant co-master of ceremony, and Jim Gibson – pageant co-master of ceremony and Grammy Award winner will also be in attendance.
The Second Washington Metropolitan Miss Chinese American Beauty Pageant will be held on Friday evening, September 17 at the Strathmore Music Center in Bethesda, MD.
