Sande Alessi Casting is casting extras (kids and adults) for the new Adam Sandler film
"Grown Ups 2" filming in Marblehead, MA starting in May 2012

Looking for thousands of different types of people: All ages of kids and adults, any ethnicity, all shapes and sizes. If you live in the Boston area, please attend our open casting call.

Please bring a pen and a current 4x6 color snapshot -- photo must not be professional and it must look like you. Please do not bring headshots. No experience needed. We will NOT be taking photos of you, so please make sure you arrive with a photo. We are very efficient in getting you in and out of the open call quickly, so you can enjoy the rest of your day! Please do not call the casting directors or Carson Place regarding information.

Asian|Boston Media Group (ABMG) is proud to announce the 5th Asian|Boston Networking Event, the ABNE-V. At this event, we will also be unveiling the first annual 'ABMG Awards.' This program was established to recognize Asian Americans, who reside and contribute to New England and New York, via excellence in their respective fields of media, high-technology, medicine, education, etc.

An Asian Health Forum (all day event) will take place on Friday, June 8th, in Boston.

They are looking for the following:

1) Asian musician(s) to perform during the check-in period from 8:30am to 9:30am

2) An Asian stage actor for a short (10 minute) performance about Mental Health issues in the Asian-American community.

There is a local university looking for two Asian men between the ages of 25-35, proficient in English. The project is a video for the business school. Please respond soon if interested...the 1/2 day (appx) non-union shoot is Friday, March 16th.

The Asian Breast Cancer (ABC) Project will hold its celebration party on the evening of 3/29 at the Tufts Medical Center’s auditorium from 6-9pm.

They are looking for an Asian female singer who has a good voice and a good heart. This will not be a paid gig but we will acknowledge the performer and she will gain exposure and good will to our funders, partners and supporters.

Their struggle to endure extraordinary hardships through sacrifice, courage, and love is the story of a nation, one that both remembers a lost society and brings to light the events that have come to define modern China.

A local theater company will be holding a second audition for two child actor and ensemble/background auditions for the upcoming production.

This local company is teaming up with another theatre company from London, and will bring this world premiere adaptation of an 'international bestseller' story to the stage.

As unprecedented change sweeps over their country, three generations of Chinese women face persecution, relocation, and torture at the hands of a novel and corrupted anarchy, one that overthrows their ancestral traditions and throws them into formidable and unfamiliar territory.
