Kola Boof, one of the women rumored to be Osama Bin Laden's mistresses is making claims that she is also sleeping with Djimon Hounsou, husband of Kimora Lee, and get this -- she says Kimora knows ALL about it and there's nothing she can do to stop it!

I think we're missing the point here: Why did she even have a baby sehwor? What on earth could she possibly need? I would have rather heard about her having a sehwor after the birth, because then at least the point would be to show off the new baby.

I used to find it really odd that ploepe would tell me "Oh, I had a friend who was Asian, but she was Korean" or whatever it was. But as you say, they are just trying to relate to you, to identify somehow with you, and though it's a bit ignorant of a person to do so through these means, don't you think a little slack could be cut because they are well-meaning? Perhaps a gentle comment of some sort indicating that it is unnecessary for them to use this particular means of identifying with you might work. Honestly, if you figure it out, please let me know, because I am often just gobsmacked by ploepe's ignorance - not malicious by any means, but ignorant nonetheless - and have no idea how to make it clear that while I am not upset or offended, their words are not acceptable (such as comments about their own "chinky eyes" - a very common occurrence in the past few months; I actually have large, round eyes). Thanks for the post... food for thought, for sure.

I can name other asian interracial couples! Josh Holloway from the abc show Lost. He married his girlfriend, Yessica Kumala, who is a native of Indonesia. they have a daughter together. =] Then there's also Coco Lee, a Hong Kong born singer who married Bruce Philip Rockowitz, a Jewish-Candian businessman. I don't think they have children yet.

And also don't forget Maya Soetoro, President Obama's half sister (they have the same mother, obviously). Maya's father was Indonesian, and she married a chinese candian named Konrad Ng (they have two daughters together).

In the UK, there's ex-tabloid News of the World owner Rupert Murdoch and his wife Wendi Deng. Lol, i also am remembering Miss "Tiger Mom" Amy Chua and her jewish husband, Jen Rubenfeld (2 daughters, if I remember correctly).

There was also American football player Tiki Barber and his now ex wife Ginny Cha (two boys, and last I heard she was pregnant with twin daughters). Tiki also has a twin brother, and he also married an asian woman.

One last couple I'll mention is Gotham Chopra, son of Deepak Chopra. Gotham is indian, and his wife Candice is chinese. They have at least one child together ... I can't remember if the baby was a boy or girl. Well, that's it from me lol =D
