There I was standing on line at my favorite coffee shop when all of a sudden the guy in front of me turned around and asked what I was going to order. I was shocked and partially annoyed at his forwardness, mostly because I'm about as chipper as Cruella De Vil at 7:30 on a Monday Morning without at least a small hit of my favorite
drug-Caffeine.

It's been 16 years since Kristi Yamaguchi skated into the hearts of Americans by winning the Olympic Gold Medal in Albertville, France. She is at it again, dancing into American hearts each week on the hit show Dancing with the Stars. Kristi and her equally gorgeous partner Mark Ballas have received the highest scores each week (except once) and seem set to win this year's Dancing with the Star's crown. It's been 16 years since Kristi Yamaguchi skated into the hearts of Americans by winning the Olympic Gold Medal in Albertville, France.

If there exists an edible that epitomizes the experience of being an American born Korean raised in Southern California, it is the Bulgogi Buffalo Burger. Imagine a 1/2 lb bulgogi-style seasoned slab of all-organic, grass-fed, free-range American buffalo meat topped with grilled onions, melted cheddar, crisp bean sprouts, crunchy purple cabbage, fragrant perilla leaves, pungent kimchi, and spicy jalapeños nestled between a roasted brown rice bun with a dollop of kochujang ketchup on the side. In early April, a friend of mine called. My friend, who we'll call Sally, was concerned that Huntsman, a stock I had recommended in a previous article, had dropped.
